Zara Ismaili is an Iranian woman standing and defying the Iranian regime by singing in public and without a Hijab.

She is a proud woman. She was arrested a few days ago and disappeared in Tehran jail.

Pro-Hamas people in the Western world support the Iranian regime because they see it as an opposition to 'the Western axis'. Turning a blind eye to the death of thousands of Iranian people to allegedly oppose Imperialism..

People like Zara are seeking basic rights and are being oppressed by the evil regime of Iran.
People tolerate such evil in the name of fighting Israel in another fake human rights stand..
When you support Hamas, you support Hizballa, support Iran. You support oppression.
Try speaking your mind freely against those regimes.
Look how women are treated, rights of minorities, LGBT, religious freedom. No tolerance at all.

Non of these people are thinking for one second to condemn Hamas. Look how much destruction you have brought upon your people!

Two weeks, two more missions. Supporting, hugging,

Two weeks, two more missions.
Supporting, hugging, crying, laughing. Standing together. This is what family is all about
Some of places we visited this time were Hostage square, Netiv Ha'asara, Nachal Oz, Sderot, Netivot, and a very uplifting BBQ with Soldiers just before they go to war. That's what family is is all about

Two months ago I came out of Miluim (reserve duty)

Two months ago I came out of Miluim (reserve duty) thinking I should prepare for long period of unemployment.
To my surprise, more or less since, I've been guiding different solidarity missions coming to bear witness, show support, volunteer with farmers, share the pain and hope of Israel and the Jewish people.

We've visited wounded soldiers and bereaved families, worked in the fields and aid distribution centers, celebrated bat mitzvah with girls evacuated from their homes and BBQ'd for soldiers in the field. We witnessed the destruction and atrocities as well as the resilience and big hug extended by the Jewish people and friends.

I can't express how grateful I am to be in my position and job.
Being able to experience all of this from first hand. To see not only the depth of darkness but also share the light.
To be part of the Israeli side but also walk alongside diaspora Jews as they pull their chair to the table and are adding their part to the story.
We're writing these days the latest chapter in the story of the Jewish people, and these solidarity missions and physical, and more important, spiritual support brought to us from the communities abroad is a powerful addition.

Everyone we meet, from soldiers in rehab who were severely injured, evacuated families in their modern day refugee camps in hotels, families waiting for their loved ones to return to all the heroes who were not born with a cape, but just stood up to the mission in front of them - they all feel me with pride and respect. They all show the spirit which isn't just words - Am Israel Chai

Like I say on the bus, we don't know how long this story is and what part of it we're at. Is this just the beginning? Did we get through the half? But we do know the unity that came out to shine and show the way.
We won't go back to October 6. What's seen can't be unseen anymore. On October 7 our enemies didn't distinguish right or left, religious or not. For them it was all about killing Jews and Israelis. We can't go back to October 6. We're in this together.

The fields of blood have started to blossom. I'm not so sure what this makes me feel..
The pain is still present, the war is still on, the hostages are still not home and we're still waiting. But the flowers are growing out of the same ground, like every year at this time..

This is a sad day today as we learn about so many

This is a sad day today as we learn about so many Israeli soldiers killed, and it hits very close to home.
The names and where they are from show that this hits close to home to all Israelis.
From cities, villages, Kibbutz and settlements. Jewish and Arab, religious and secular.
From Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, the Galilee in the north and as south as the Negev, I can imagine these people had different views on life and about how this country should be , but they all were part of one unit. They came together to defend their homes and fight evil.

This is a tragic day, so painful.
We pray this spirit of unity these heroes represent carries on to the rest of the country and the pain isn't in vane. 💔💔

In the month that's past since my release from res

In the month that's past since my release from reserve duty I've been busier than I thought.
I was expecting a lot of down time and time with the family. We went out on some picnics and spent time together, but than I discovered that many support delegations and individuals have made their way here.

So I've also been showing them around and visiting many places.

We've gone to the rehabilitation wards to visit wounded soldiers, we met with people who were evacuated from their homes in Sderot, Kfar Aza, Nir oz and other communities affected by the war. We met with heroes who saved so many lives and also relatives that had their family stolen from them.

Some of these activities were very moving, like a bat mitzvah ceremony for 40 girls from Sderot who are now living in modern day refugee camps in Eilat.
We saw the children, some who were kidnapped and came back, trying to get some comfort from the animals in therapy.

There are so many options to help like supporting families that have a father or husband still in reserve duty and farmers who are missing their workers and are worried their entire business is going down.

What's amazing in my eyes is that these activities were done by Jews who came from abroad, strangers, who came to give a hand and offer a hug to their extended family here in Israel without even knowing them.

This isn't regular tour guiding as the story told isn't one from the past. It is happening as we go.
This is the moment we are writing and adding the next chapter to the story of the Jewish people.

I don't know what more this war is going to bring, but I know that it's brought some very special moments already.

I spent the weekend with search & rescue officers and commanders to be.
We held discussions, talked about past and current events, shared stories of heroism and the price paid. What can I say... These guys are amazing!
We should be proud to have such committed and great young officers who are going to lead the next generation

One of the things that was very present is the fact that we were having this weekend during the war that's still raging and how it effects us all.
We are now writing the new chapter in the story of the Jewish people!

Guiding a solidarity mission from NY this week.
Meeting, supporting and witnessing Israel after Oct 7.

We visited wounded soldiers in rehabilitation & families from Kfar Aza in their new modern-day refugee camp.

We volunteer with farmers who are struggling to keep their business alive with no workers

We listened to the families who had their children and relatives stolen from them and stood in solidarity with them.

We witnessed the atrocities in Be'eri and Sderot

We showed love to Israeli soldiers who are standing up to defend us

What a beautiful thoughtful design
It has interesting exhibitions, amazing robotic bookshelves, a special sculpture garden where the missing part is what you are looking for... And what touches me so much is the memorial of the murdered and the kidnapped since 7.10 😥

A war update... Going home after over two months of reserve duty...
Feels strange. The war is going on, hostages are still in captivity. Siren sounded in Jerusalem on Friday.. How does a war end?

Also, we're supposed to go home for a month... How does that work? What is the new routine now? What work is there for a month?
Lots of questions..
One thing is for sure, Estee and the kids are happier. And that is a relief.
I'm still not sure how this is going to be... A lot of mixed feelings here

We were asked to search for some personal belongings in Kfar Aza and especially this Hanukkiya from 1800.
It was in time for the last candle lighting and it's a story that brings a bit more light, especially after all the hard work in the last 2 months

We were asked to search for some personal belongings in Kfar Aza.
The most meaningful was this Hanukkah Menorah (Hanukkiya) we found under the rubble which we sent to the owner in Tel Aviv, hopefully they will be lighting it with hanukkah candles tonight

The news paper on the kitchen table is from Oct 6. While people were living there life peacefully.
